ball and socket connectors?

slip together exhaust systems suck to take apart, and flanges aren't quite the greatest either. does anybody know where ball and socket type connections can be found? it would be nice to not have to use a hammer to remove an exhaust system...

Check the paper Walker catalog at your local parts store. They only come in 2.25 and 2.50" from Walker, but they are available. The flared end is easy to come by and often available in stock, but the ball is tricky unless you know the part number. I recently ordered a 2.5" "ball" to make a converter eliminator on my daughters 78 El Camino. $12 for the ball and 6" of pipe with the flange. (sorry, I don't have the number).

It might be a better idea to use Anti Sieze on the joints and secure them with band clamps. I've seen that done a few times.
