Who has a headliner...
Mine has what I imagine is it's original, the headlining corners are underneath the vertical cab corners. Hope this helps.... and that I am correct for my first input to FTE

... unless someone has tucked them behind but it looks tidy this way. They seem to want to curl downwards otherwise.
For the 64-66 on page 15 WITHOUT CONSOLE (2 piece), the section around the rear glass first then the roof panel.
That is my best guess seeing how the illustration has the screws driven through the top piece of the overlap. Does any of this seem realistic to those with one installed?
The 4 piece headliner has been reproduced, but the cost to ship it is horrible, due to the large center section.
There were TWO different headliners as original.
Custom Cabs/Rangers were perforated. Standard Cabs were not.
I dunno whether the reproduced headliner is perforated...or not.

Mine has the horn ring, vinyl cab interior corners and patterned vinyl headliner going into a standard looking foam based liner at the back of the cab (if that makes sense).
Sorry for the slight hi-jack there.

Three different trim levels were available: Standard & Custom Cabs, Ranger.
Standard Cabs are Sally Rand. Have a painted grille, round speedo in a painted instrument cluster, horn button, no armests, or door trim panels, one L/S sunvisor. The seat is vinyl, the headliner is made of a cardboard like material without holes (not perforted), plain jane black rubber floor mat.
Custom Cabs have an anodized aluminum grille, stainless trim around the windshield, horn ring, black vinyl padded dash, armrests and hard plastic door trim panels, perforated cardboard headliner. 1965/66 F100/250 2WD's have a sweep speedo in a chromed plastic cluster. The seat cushion is woven plastic, the backrest is vinyl above, woven plastic below. The floor mat is rubber, depending on what exterior colors were, the mat was available in Black, Red, Tan, Green, Blue with black flecks (excepting the black mat)
The Ranger has all the Custom Cab features, plus a chrome front bumper, side mouldings, bucket seats, center console, full carpeting, a vinyl drape that covers the fuel tank, and carpeting.
Optional on Standard Cabs: Padded dash, tu-tone paint, oil and amp gauges and etc.
Optional on Custom Cabs: Chrome front bumper, chrome rear bumper, side mouldings, tu-tone paint, oil and amp gauges, and etc.
Optional on Rangers: Oil and amp gauges, chrome rear bumper, tu-tone paint.
Optional on all: AM Radio, Heater (two versions), 4 speed manual or A/T, 300 I-6 or 352 V8, all outside mirror(s), lap seat belts, rear bumper, spare tire...and the wheel!
The '65/66 F100/250 Camper Special package included features that were optional on the other models.
There's more...a lot more. It would take me two/three hours to type all the additional stuff, but you get the idea.
Others will chime in with additional info. Some of it may be correct, some of it may not.
Your truck's seat has been reupholstered with the wrong materials, wrong pattern, No tuck and roll was available. No vinyl headliners as original, no vinyl door panels, either.
Your truck has an anodized grille, windshield mouldings, horn ring.
Whatever that is on the front of the hood is not original, either is that stripe along the sides.
Look on the left door face below the latch for the Warranty Plate, post all the codes from it.
Once decoded, you will know if it's a Standard or Custom Cab, what the trans type and axle ratio are, original paint color(s), type of material and color of the seat and etc.

So, it's a good idea to read the post again....one hour after I first typed it, because....
FTE allows one hour to edit posts.
I edited the above post at least ten times.

I did mine not so long ago....
Based on D.C instructions: For those unsure of the order etc...
BE SURE TO REMOVE REAR WINDOW FIRST!
1.Main headliner section goes in first...
2.Rear 2 corner sections go in...screws are involved as retainers
3.Install Aluminum door trim (may be a C.C option only?)
4.Rear window section is last and overlaps the two corner sections...
Small clips go into rear edge of main headliner piece to retain rear section on the ceiling...tricky!!! Go SLOW!
5.Re-install rear window using string method and lube...
The D.C kit is a very close fit, but the rear window section is the last and hardest piece to fit...around the
rear window there are tabs that match to grooves cut in the headliner piece...make those grooves a little
deeper, it will make it go together easier. Also, an FTE member suggested using a mixture of 4 parts water
to one part ammonia to use as a softening agent for the headliner...it works well. The ammonia apparently
breaks down the fibers a little easier and makes it more pliable.
TIP: USE several pairs of CLEAN RUBBER GLOVES to protect headliner from stains!
Rear window goes in last...
There are a few pics on my album section....
Good luck,
Jason
PS:Bill, the perforated headliner is the one D.C is re-poppin'
