has any one used a manual shift 4406?

just wondering if anyone has put a manual shift 4406 into there expy.i saw a right up about putting one into explorer.next tax time i need to get a new t case, and i would rather have a shift lever.at the most maybe some drive shaft mods,besides cutting a hole in my floor board.

I'd think you'd have a hell of a time rigging up the clutch pedal.

no the 4406 is the t case.i want to put a t case in that has a lever not a manual tranny..

Just out of curiosity, why do you want a manual shift t-case?

becouse i cant leave anything alone,less parts in the t case to break by not having the a4wd stuff inside,never have to worry about a shift motor going out,i like having a lever makes me feel more cofident that the 4x4 will work when i realy need it to,and it would be cool as hell to show friends.there are problay a few more reasons that i am just not thinking of right now.but since i have to replace it already becouse of the a4wd stuff taking a crap on my i figure what is a little more work.
