Ok, say you have 30" tires, stock truck height (hypothetically speaking). You put 33" tires on the truck and a 3" body lift. You have overall lifted the body 4.5" and the frame 1.5". Now let's say you put the same tires on and a 3" suspension lift. You lift the body AND the frame 4.5".

they are as good as any other shocks that come with a lift kit. if you want good ones pick up some bilstein shocks. 33s will fit no problem. i have 35s and they only rub the back of the wheel well when the suspension is really stuffed almost to its maximum

My buddy that runs a muffler shop recommends front to back duals and use a dual inlet dual outlet muffler to equalize the pipes. I put the duals behind my flow off a y pipe to patch it up until I get the money to tie the front exhaust pipes to the rear pipes with a proper dual setup..

The main thing is to get the restrictive muffler out and get something in there that will let it breath. You can do it with single exhaust if the pipe diameter is large enough, and all things considered, you don't want to go too big or you take away from the scavenging effect of the exhaust flow.....

alright, i was looking at the flowmaster site, on there it says the best match up would be the Super 44 series mufflers. and front to end dual means u have to have 2 cats right? Which im assuming is expensive as hell.

by front to back to you mean from the headers back? or cat back, i have never heard the term front to back, i have heard cat back, which means from after the cats to the tail pipe, and i have heard headers back, which is from the headers back to the tail pipe. and the price varies on the size of pipe, type of bends you want in the pipe, type of pipe and how far you want it to go, if you want it all the way out the back, to side dump, to dump right after the muffler etc etc etc. so basically that is on you to go to your local shop and figure it out

ok cat back i know what that is, but what is headers t back also i want duals to come out to not past the bumper, which includes the tip i want to put on them. And what will the bends change? And the size of the pipe isnt it better to have big diameter pipes for better horsepower and gas mileage?

If you go with 5 inch pipe, it will not be better than 2.5 inch pipe and the pipe size makes very very little noticeable difference in your power and mileage if any at all, i think 2.5 inches is the biggest you want to go otherwise you start to loose power mileage etc, so they say. The different types of bends effect airflow (and cost) in the pipes and strength of pipes, you want mandrel bent pipes. Headers back is literally new pipes from the collector all the way back to wherever they empty, which would imply that you need to include new cats, or reuse your old cats. and if you are doing dual you want an x ideally, or a Y pipe somewhere to even out the flow.

ok so what im gathering from this is thats expensive as hell, so muffler back is the cheapest even though its not the real thing. And would the Super 44 Series from flowmaster be the best for my truck? 2002 Ford F-150 .

cat back isnt too expensive cuz its just pipes and a muffler. its what most people do. as far as a specific muffler, it really has to do with the sound you like. you will get a pretty similar power gain across the board with any after market performance muffler. so it comes down to the sound you prefer. Honestly i really like spintech, thats what i have, it sounds different than most out there, and flomaster is very popular so a lot of people have the same muffler. so if thats what you want then go for it its a good muffler, but shop around and find the sound you like. Magnaflow has great straight through muffler series and sound really really good.
