this picture was taken almost 10 years ago, back when the previous owner redid the truck, the same color locations will remain, just modern paint colors, Performance white (Mustang color) and Colorado red (Ford Explorer Sport Trac/Shelby GT-500 color) and i think the black inserts on the rims really set them off, i got some nice "31 OWL (Outlined White Lettered) tires and it should really set the truck off, mind you the truck is on a 4x4 frame now, thus it has a 6" inch lift, and it will look different when done! hope my picture helps! and in my opinion the classic period turbine rims really fit these trucks well!
Hopefully this pic comes up.
This was before new e-brake cables and new lug nuts. Eagle One makes an "Etching Mag Cleaner" that works wonders on these old raw aluminum rims. I've got a set of the "Hurricane/Turbine" rims I'm getting ready to etch and run for my winter BFG's.
anybody sporting any 18" with 35's?
I am leaning toward that combo on mine when done.
black with aluminum or any other combo but chrome.
I dislike chrome very much!
I do give props to the "ol skool" look of the slots and turbines. those are my 2nd choice
