IF the picture on top of the home page is accurate I think the grille is too big!
And I'm glad to see they got rid of the vents on the fenders!
What kind of mileage can we expect from the 2011 6.7 PSD?
Is Navistar still making these engines?
I was at the State Fair of Texas last week and got a look at the 2011 F-250. I thought it looked much better in person than it did in the pictures. I wanted to hear the new engine run but that was out of the question. I asked the Ford girl about pricing and she said that it has yet to be priced. She also couldn't give me any mpg estimates. She only said that Ford is not required to give the estimates for SD's. She didn't know a thing about diesels, or trucks for that matter, other than the talking points Ford gave her. Despite her ignorance, she sure did look good.
The 6.7 is a Ford produced engine, not Navistar. It will be interesting to see how well it holds up by comparison.
I think once you see one of these trucks, you'll change your mind or at least decide that the grill isn't as bad as you thought. On a different note, the Raptor was next to the SD and it looked outstanding as well.
Rush did you notice any differences from the current trucks from the new one. Interior, exterior, chassis. Im so glad somebody has seen the truck in person.
I have a couple of videos that I took. As soon as I can figure out how to get them uploaded somewhere, I post them. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
The interior is a little different. The instrument panel looks great and is more electronic than the previous versions, although I don't have any experience with the 2008-2010 trucks other than riding in them a few times.
The exterior is different but really only from the doors forward. The 6.7 badge looks great and is in the same place as the 7.3, 6.0 badges were.
The oddest thing I saw was that there were 2 filler caps in the fuel door. I assume the second (smaller) one was for urea, but am unsure and the girl had no idea what it was for. She thought it had something to do with B20. I highly doubt that.
I have a funeral to go to today but as soon as I get back, I'll see if I can get the videos posted.
