What jumpstarter

Hi,
Have any of you guys used a jumpstarter on a 7.3. If so what would be a good type to buy.

Thanks.

Since the batteries should be at least 1700 amps combined capacity, it will need to be a big one.

Yes, I have successfully used a jumpstarter on my buddy's 6.9 (essentially same as your 7.3) many times - my jumpstarter is self-propelled on 6 big wheels for easy moving around. Only downside is it's nearly 18 ft long and 8ft wide...

I have jumpstarted mine with my 93 cad...and that was allowing the glow plugs to cycle and everything......it did it no problem.

then again, thee cad has 4 1200cca deep cycles, 2 300amp alts all connected by 00 cable....and i have manly jumper cables too; guess thats why i also used it to jump start the cats in the motorhomes. when we travel it always amazes people when I offer to jump something huge using it
