hydraulic brakes

hi guys i have a 1979 c600 tow truck. i wanted to know how do i add hydraulic fluid to master/brake cylinder for brakes. its located right under the brake pedal but i see no resevoir . can you help me plz thx

Hi chuckd60, welcome to the FTE Forum.

I went through my Ford Chassis books, but there is no clear picture showing the reservoir location for the C Series. I did find this though, someone else having the same issue as you. The info in the link may give you what you need. And/or you could post there to see if the other user found the reservoir location on their truck.

Master Cylinder

I'm not sure but I think you fill it by popping the rubber boot back on the pushrod and fill it there.

If I remember correctly the C models have remote reservoirs but don't remember where they are.
