I have to say I've never been a fan of stacks on a pickup, but I think it's really cool to see someone modify the exhaust for something other than the express purpose of being obnoxiously loud.

Nicely done!

That "U" bend you have after the muffler isnt good for your egt's. If your running a chip there could be a problem.

Everthing is stock. I stepped up the size of the tail pipe from 3 1/2 to 4 to make the bend. There are no "kinks" all the bends are manderl bends. The pipe after the muffler is actually shorter then the stock tail pipe.

Its not the length of the pipe that would be a problem, its the dramatic "U" the exhaust gases make that will slow the flow down, making the egts go up. But on a stock motor you shouldn't have a problem.

Your exhaust makes a "U" when it goes over the rear axle if you're running a tailpipe.

Its no where near as dramatic as the one the OP made up.

It shouldnt be a problem for the OP anyway if hes not running a chip or a tuner, Im not trying to start anything just dont want to see anyone break anything.
