I have 2003 F250 6.0 diesel and I need to put injectors numbers 1,3,5,7 in it I can see them can anybody walk me through putting them in please. cost to much to take to the shop. Thanks
^^^ what he said, its kinda odd that they would all go out at once on the same bank. Could you tell us the codes you got and/or how you determined that all those injectors need replacing at the same time.
Did you get codes for 1,3,5, and 7 all at once??? If so it may be the FICM instead of the injectors.
It could also be a fuel pressure issue as well considering it's on the odd side. Atleast that's the codes that I got when my fuel pump wasn't suppling pressure.
i had the same thing happen 1,3,5,7 all went at once but the tech that did my head job forgot to torque them so i didnt have to pay the bill but it still left me stuck on the highway with my camper have you ever had those injectors out before

I was just going to say the same thing. I have been working through what I think is a fuel pressure issue and my mechanic told me the same thing about that bank of injectors.
Low pressure will show up on those injectors first.
Do you have some way of testing the fule pressure?

I had it at the Ford garage and they ran the codes I made a mistake the bad injectors are 1,2,3,5,8. I put new ICP in earlier this year.
Not sure what to think there..... I know the other guys that have replied to you are great guys with allot of knowlage on these trucks soooo.... FICM maybe?
Everything I have researched about injector failure seem to lead back to either FICM, Fuel pressure, or High pressure oil issues. And the FICM problems caused by low batt. voltage.
I would see what the others have to say. I am a little out of my comfort zone with this also.
I may have spoken too quickly. I forgot that one "side" of the FICM doesn't fire one side of the motor. I'll look through the FICM diagnosis and see what it is and repost later.

The ford garge performed 221105 injector electrical test
Connector X1 controls injectors 1,4,6,7 Connector X2 controls 2,3,5,8 Connector X3 controls Power, Ground, Relay control, and Communications. IIRC the plug-ins are X3 to X1 front to back.
