Progress made, engine in

Just put the engine and transmission in tonight. they aren't bolted in or mated. They are supported but I finally got everything in place to hopefully finish the truck this week. I will mate tranny and engine tomorrow, as well trying to finish the ancilleraries.

Special thanks to indyf-350psd for selling a badly needed part to finish this project.

Chad

That's a nice looking engine. If I ever tear mine down (or replace it ), the replacement will be Ford Blue. The 351W I stuffed in my Fox Mustang was Ford Blue too. Looks great man!

It's nice to be getting close to the finish line on this project. Then Chad's truck will be running like it should have back in 06 when he bought it. Hopefully we will have everything together sometime this weekend or next week.

We're still working on it, but it is getting close to being done now. We have gotten most of the engine accessories back on. We are still waiting for the replacement for the belt tensioner that broke. Yesterday we dropped the exhaust for a 4" upgrade and fuel tank for the in-tank mods. Tonight we are putting the tank and exhaust back on. If the tensioner arrives today it will be installed as well. From there we still need to bolt on all of the coolers and coils up front and then fill with fluid.

Got the in tank mods done along with the quick disconnect on top of the tank. Started roughing in the exhaust. But it's going to be problematic, it was cheap and the hangers aren't correct. Fuel connections at the engine are done. and the alternator and PS pump are back on and my idler pulley and new tensioner are on as well. I'm waiting for some wrench to handle the fan and pulley on the old water pump. After that comes the fuel pump suction connection, the exhaust, and then the rest of the coolers then the A/C, etc, etc. pictures to comes shortly. I'll have to upload them first.
