1996 f250 e4od with unusual problems

Hey guys see if you can help me out.

My 1996 f25o 7.3l has a tranny problem or maybe electrical problem.

When in OD it will sometimes disengage the torque converter clutch solenoid. I can ground it manually and it locks up fine. I don't know why I am loosing the signal.

Also, when in any gear other than OD the tranny will loose all forward motion - almost like it goes into neutral. If I stop and shift into park and then drive again it works fine. Also when It acts up - which isnt always- I can shift into low gear 2 or 1 ands drive just fine.

These problems happen at random. No common operating temperature, with or without a load.

I changed the pcm with another and the problem persists. No codes in the computer.

Other then when it acts up the tarnny works great.

Whats wrong?

Ive tried 2 tranny shops and they dont have a clue.

The mlps sensor works fine, the solenoids test fine and the vss test fine.
