Off a 77.5 F250 We think
What is it?
did the 77.5 have a dana 44 HD or a divorced dana 60 Thought they were all highboys,

Y93662 - June, 1977. Yes, this is the later 1977 4x4.

Thanks guys... So the 77.5 was not a highboy? or was Highboy with a dana 44 & no divorced Tcase?

So did the Highboy truck end in early 1977?

With the divorced tcase?

Correct, not a "highboy". The design is same as 78/79 F250 4WDs.

1977's before serial number Y20,001 = High Boy.

1977's from serial number Y20,001 = Not a High Boy.

Ford never refered to any 1977 truck as a 1977.5, that's an enthusiasts term, as is the term High Boy.

Serial number Y20,001 occured in mid-model year 1977, where that 1977.5 jazz comes from.

Before Y20,001 = High Boy. From Y20,001 = Not.
