Talking 79 on 35's pics please

hey there, i am building a 79 ford f150 and can't deside between a 4 or 6" lift. i plan on runnin 35x14 boggers on 15x10 wide wheels. could ya'll please post some pics of your trucks so i can get a idea on what i'm lookin at?

look at the highboys (73-77.5 f250 4x4s). this will give you an idea of what 4 inches will do. i have 36s on my highboy and i think its pretty good. i shoulda gone with 40s though.

how about 38.5's truck is not the best but it runs.




or a mix when i was going to trailer it home.

38.5 on the back and a 205 XX 15 on the front.
i was surprised at how level it sat

Here is my blue 78, it's on 33x13.50 ltb's with a 2" body lift.
i have a 79 that i'm fixin right now, it's completely stock an
the one that i'm goin to lift for the 35's.

I have a couple of 79 Short Beds:

This one has a 4" lift on 35x12.50 15 BFG's


This is a stock truck on 35's


Tis is a sweet one with 6" + lift


Here is a F250 with 10" or so on 33's It needs the 38.5 boggers

How much lift do you have on this truck? Great thread, I'm having the same problem deciding between 4 and 6 inch, so don't forget to say how much lift your trucks have.
