Ok so while driving down the hwy at a constant speed if i let off the throttle it will sometimes make a short teapot sound, like when you take the pot off the burner and it stops whistling just the last second of the whistle? what in the world would this be?
also when i brake hard it pulls to the right?
and finally, i was getting a heavy humm noice from the drivers side sounds like the power steering pump is always working/straining so i checked it and the level was at the low mark, so i filled it up with merc 5 and can still hear it mind you not as loud but it was cold out that day and temp has risen. or is this what i will hear in the winter?
The teapot sound or whirrrr you are probably hearing is the fan. It' gradually kicks up to speed, rather than clicking on and off like a traditional fan. At full tilt, those fans are loud!

Or it is the famous exhaust leak, which requires removal of the cab. You need to get your pulling issue looked at, I suspect a faulty caliper.
My "tea kettle" sound is just the turbo spooling down, transitioning from positive boost to neutral. I would say that you are hearing the same thing. Not an issue.
My truck pulls to the right if I brake hard and I have a trailer attached. It also reacts strongly to grooves in the road when I brake to a light. I don't have any issues with it, things stay straight on good flat roads. Even the crown in the road, if it's more than average, will make me drift right pretty hard. If you have had any work done on your truck that involved removing or disconnecting the brake cylinder you may just need to bleed them again.
and finally, I think if you get a new CAC your "tea kettle" sound may become louder. I think mine did as a result of a tighter system, no leaks and stuff.
Just offering my .02, I think all the stuff you bring up is normal.
well i just had the truck out for about 40 mins and worked flawlessly? other than the trail of black smoke when you stand on it but i can live with that. sure would like to know why i couldnt get it over 50mph and up to 3000 rpm and if i didnt let off the go pedal it wouldnt change gears? and the degass bottle and motor with anti-freeze splater all over it?
sorry ruschejj but i have to disagree with you, most of these problems are not normal some are even dangerous i think.
no your right rucschejj, i got mixed up with the other thread that i posted in about the hesitation etc.
but i have tried the braking at different speeds and still pulls to the right even on a flat road, i cant figure the teapot sound but it may be the turbo... not sure i tell ya this is a whole different ball of wax than the 6.0 i had.
anyway sorry if i confused you, and thanks for your input much appreciated.
