Anyone ever run these? I'm looking at them and rated for 3750 lbs plus they have high ratings for snow/ice. Also looking at BFG but worried about balancing issues some have had. Any input helpful.
Just purchased a set of Firestone Destination A/T 285/75/16 E 10ply. Only had them a few days so my review is based on very few miles. They handle well, the sidewalls feel firm the handling is predictable. I'm running around town at 45 psi, will air up before towing. Very little, if any, road noise. Had BFG TA and liked them just looking for something different and maybe found something better? I'll report back after I put more miles, towing, and get into some weather.
I have had them almost 2 years now, stocks were toast at 25k. The Firestones have about 20k on them an still look new. I have no complaints with them, and they worked very well this last winter, deep snow as well as ice.
I have the Firestone Destination M/T on my 04. I have put about 5000 miles on them since new and they still look new. They ride well, and have very little noise for a mud tire.
I had a set on my last truck, they were 305/70/16 and I loved them. They handled fairly well and had good traction all around. I put about 10k on them with not a lot of noticeable wear and the guy who bought my truck is still running them with over 30k and still looking good.
I have them on my 350 and i go through pretty much everything. They grab to anything and everything. I had BFG on there and were terrible on wet conditions. The firestones are soft compound were most AT are hard. I think you would enjoy the Firestones a lot more
