catalytic convertor
Buyer beware! The convertors on my '04 truck went out over 2 months ago and we are still waiting for Ford to send us parts to replace them under the emissions warranty. Ford won't let us use after market parts, and we are out a truck for who knows how much longer. Pray your convertors don't go out...you'll be hosed!

We were driving home from Yellowstone pulling our trailer and the truck died 6 hours from home. It's been a nightmare scenerio from the beginning. Ford has done nothing to compensate us. The dealer the truck is at gave us a loaner that has bald tires and we are afraid to drive, and winter is slowly approaching. Because of the supplier issue they supposedly changed the clause that states if a vehicle is disabled for more then 30 days we could use after market arts. I've been a fan of Ford products for a long time, but this is ridiculous.
