So I recently replaced the rear leaf springs in my '98 F150 2WD SUper Cab. According to the manufacturer of these springs, they were .5" thicker than the stock ones which I figured wouldn't be much difference with bonus of added load capacity. Truck is higher in back but what I didn't account for was the change in angle of the headlights to the road. It seems the beam doesnt reach quite as far now and I have been wanting to adjust them for sometime, just now I need to make the change.
I know you're supposed to park vehicle on level surface and aim it at a wall etc. Does any one have recommendations on proper height of main beam on the wall? Distance of beams from each other? How far should one park vehicle from wall? All those details would be greatly helpful. Thanks!!
