Pulling the CPS plug, IDM or PCM relays would eliminate the fuel from being injected while turning it over. Ryan did mention hooking up the wires, so I think he meant to do this with the injectors unplugged, also.
What he said^^^.
Glad you got them in Joe. There'll be plenty more playin to come!!
No, I actually didn't do the swap yet. My ICP has stayed up over 2800ish so far, And I'm thinking a lot of that is because I simply can't use these injectors to their full potential. Bob had asked me to do some more testing before he shipped (and charged me for! ) the HPOP. It looks like my stocker will be fine with these. I did a couple runs from 60-90 and never saw it drop like it did with my stock sticks. HUGE difference!! I'm kind of glad he had the delays -- looks like it saved me about $500.
EDIT: Last night driving around, I can actually say I felt like my avatar!!!
That's what I was hoping to hear. My HPOP was dying before my injector change, so I really couldn't tell a difference. Wish I knew this sooner before live tuning. I just didn't have any big tunes before the injector swap to tax my stock injectors. Between the singles and the Stealth, I'm "all good" now.
Need to change the wording under your avatar to "really fast now..."
Congrats on the install Joe, glad your happy.. You mentioned you wished you woulda went smaller, can you elaberate? Why I ask is somewhere down the line i,m upgrading and I was shooting for 200-35cc 30% over nozzle hybrids, was told by a fellow FTE'er Kris that this would be great for me. Thanks..

Probably because he has more fuel than he needs for his setup. I don't believe fuel is a problem in my setup and I have smaller hybrids. They are tuned down, though I can still roll the coal at will.
Glad it went well Joe. Keep the block together man.
Thanks again... And Mike is exactly right. 235/30s would've been plenty. Rolling coal isn't even the word -- it's more like black out the sun. Pretty much Biblical proportions. LOL
This is like going from nothing to custom tuning all over again. It's absolutely unreal. Got some idle/jumpy ICP issues to work out with Tony, but this thing flat out gets it as it is now. It's what I expected and more.

Good luck with that idle thing. I went round and round with that. I finally got the idle tolerable. On the other hand, the go factor makes me forget the cammer idle in a heartbeat. The bigger you go with single shots, it seems the harder it is to keep that idle tamed. That is just what I have seen. Been wrong before.

It will be interesting, that's for sure. I heard Joe's truck today. In my opinion, the cammy idle really needs the throaty growl out the tail pipe to match it, and I haven't heard that tone since they introduced computers under the hood.
Luckily for Joe, Tony lives close by so the tuning tweaks are easier to come by.
The idle is one thing (and I don't mind it so much, but would like it a little more tame), but there are a few places in the RPM range (depending on tune) where it does the same thing. Like around 40-50 somewhere when it shifts to OD and RPMs drop. It kind of makes it a little jerky trying to maintain speed, if that makes sense. That I would really like to get fixed over the idle issue, but hopefully we can get it smoothed out a little when coming to a stop. I would guess "normal" folks would think it isn't running right. Not that I care. Once the go pedal is mashed, I'm off like a shot.
Unfortunately, we got rained on pretty good at the event, so we didn't get to make any adjustments. But I have time to get it dialed in. It's running and I'm not in a huge hurry. Other than to get the wife's grumping about how it runs. She actually hasn't been in it yet, but I'm sure I'll hear about it. LOL
