I know I've posted numerous threads regarding the wheel/tire set up on my F2, and I appreciate all the patience and help I've received from all of you on the board. I've finally decided to keep the 17.5" wheels but it's been really difficult trying to locate a used set of tires for 'em over here in San Diego. I've found a few out of state, but no one seems willing to ship, even though I have a UPS and FedEx account they can use. Anyway, I know new ones are the option, but at almost $200 per tire mounted, it's more than I can spend right now. I've found a fair share of 8R-17.5 used online with wheels for under $200, but again, all want local pick up. Anyone have a set for sale to an F2 owner out here in Dago???
Thank you!
goodluck . i had an 55 f350 { hence the moniker } that used 17.5's and i had to look at corky coker's wonderful little site and another place that someone here mentioned and my feeble old mind can't recall , to find any . now if ya wanna run dubs , well hades they seem to be for sale on every street corner ....................... noone here had any i could find in illinois so again dago good luck .
I ended up getting the spare for my truck at Discount tire and it was a pretty good deal. I needed the stock size equivelant because of the Contental Kit fit.
You might see if they have something new but cheeper.

They may not have any, but they are the used tire gods around here and if any are to be found, they will know where.
