Nice. Ya I was going to say the same. I need to clean my truck but its rained almost everyday this week and its suppose to ran next week. Except for the automatic car wash a few weeks back I havent washed my truck by hand in probably 2 months. I normally do it once a week or every two weeks.
Also like the 4 pedelstals she's sitting on, life with gravels. Good idea. I used to keep a Chevelle SS sitting up on some wide red oak 2by boards in the gravel drive.
I washed the 07 by hand first time a few days ago (we just purchased it recently), being used to doing one of the Birds or the wife's Forester or a CV or Merc GM ....
.... It took forever to dry this truck off.
Got to get me a taller stool to get the roof and hood ....
.... and try this new 36x36 microfiber drying towel next time, buddy said it's better than a "shammy" (I know, it's spelled "chamoise" or something like that) .
They do look all nice and perty (I know) when they're all cleaned up. Just washed and waxed both of mine last weekend, and with the rain other than the water beading up nicely, can't tell I did a thing to them.
Thanks for the compliments!....Life with the gravel driveway sucks. I put it up on the concrete stones so I could clean and get tire shine to the very bottom of the tire. if I dont there is always a spot i cant reach. The other option is to drive forward a bit, but that gets old. tbear853 that is some shiny RED! Nice.

That's a mighty nice looking gravel driveway there. Gravels aren't so bad really if you have a solid parking pad to get in and out ...
or wash on. Even just a few good solid wide oak boards or two runners of concrete or pavers help.
Biggest reason I paved was because of the way my Goldwing felt coming in on gravels, and we got tired of tracking stuff in the house.
I know your pain though. Back when I had that Chevelle, where we rented we had a short gravel road
out to the main paved road and several neighbors, and every time it got dry ... much dust. It was
mostly why I finally sold the Chevelle
(a '67 SS with a mild '75 454 and Tri Power from a '67 Vette, factory 4 spd, ac, ps, pb,
rare then factory tint, tilt wheel, am/fm, leather bench, ... I loved that car. Painted it "Mack Truck Blue",
was a one owner before me.)
(pics taken at in-laws house in about '82-'83)
When I built this place in '90, I swore no gravel roads, but I had a gravel drive. I got some gypsy pavers
that travel through here every few years to do my driveway after a couple years, not highway smooth ,
but some better than gravels under a heavy bike.
Gravels beat red clay though, and I still see some places here where that's all they have ... I couldn't live like that.

The only reason the gravel looks so nice in the pic is I had just took the box blade to it and redid it the day before. I regrade it about once a year. I wanna pave it but the estimates I got scared me.
