I dont think you get used to it more than resigned to deal with it!

82 and sunny at 10:30 am...went for a swim and the pool is only 76°...dammit, I need a pool heater.

wonder how long it would take my truck to heat it

First day.... first shot, 3 Quail hit deck. only took one more shot after that so 4 birds with 2 shots. saw 5 mule deer doe and about 20 pig. just a good day hunting.


Sean, dont you plug your truck in to keep it warm?

Good Morning everyone! we got some RAIN last night.... I dont know what the temp is, But it's Beautiful outside. 89 days till the end of the year, thats only 2145 hours folks!!!

71 degrees here...no rain...was really warm last nite so I went for a swim at midnite...slept well!

good job on the birds Bill! we have had 1/4 inch of ice up here already, we have even built a fire in the wood stove.
the house is toasty today, I am making salsa again, about 20 gallons!
am I nuts?

couldn't let a garden full of green tomatoes go to waste.
after everyone in my family mooches some there isn't that much left.

not up here, I am at 4750 ft, when I was a kid the temp went to 30 below zero during a freak cold front. we will have freezing from now until the end of March.
you can grow most of the year in the valley except for the heat in the summer.
