i want to mount a flag on a pole in the bed of my truck, about 3 x 5feet, somthing like a ford racing flag or w/e. i was woundering if anyone had ideas on how to mount a flag so it is secure enough to not fly away but not perminent and still removable. thanks

I'd imagine they sell flag pole holders for the specific application, but in a pinch I'd assume you can use regular house/wall mount pole holders, and drill the bed. Use bolts intead of sheet metal screws and it'll stay put.

What about fabricating something that goes into the stake pocket on bed? Or if you have a tool box in the bed use one of those adjustable flag brackets mounted to the face of it.
