I'm thinking about painting my '80 F150 & can't figure out how to post a poll...
so, here's the top 5 choices:
Grabber green
ford blue
or white, black, or red oxide primer?

ok figured the poll part out.
colors i've considered, but probably won't follow through with are:
bullitt green
italian red
dk. candy blue
HOK tangelo
flat black
other colors i'm considering:
flat white
charcoal
flint mica
moss green
being it has a 351 maybe i'll have some boss stripes made up...or i'll give it a 'parts-runner' look by making up a shop loge for the doors...

I'm a big fan of greys and charcoal would fit in really nice. Gray doesn't show dirty/dust as well as the high contrast colors.

if you go boss I would say white with the black stripes or maybe black with white stripes. Thought about doing stripes on my white truck briefly. Maybe after I get it cranked up some.
If the part runner go with the rust look...saw an article about some cross country race or drag race and they cleared over the rust on a 30s car. Old magazine at the doctor's office. I would not recommend using real rust obviously but I am sure with a bit of work you can make the truck look rusted out if that is the look you are going for if you use that color. Think it would be funny when people get closer and see the panels are intact and clear coated.
