I'd have to head to my truck for a sec, do you need the number? As long as the Ford guy doesn't give you what you got now. It's got a totally different label than yours so it's easy to tell. If you can receive picture text messages PM me your phone number.
Thanks HeavyAssault, I got the number. I was just alitle concerned about the trip. I'me heading to Killington VT. Friday morning from Oakville, Ontario and didn't need a problem while on the road. Thanks for the quick reply and help.
Mine was looking like that but I could never figure out what type of driving caused it to happen. I got the cap, dropped my level and life is good! Now I have a modded up-pipe so just keep an eye on yours during the driving.
I had the same thing about two weeks ago. New cap, and dropped the level down below the MIN mark and everything is better now. Once I put the new cap on I had a small leak at the top Rad. hose. I pulled it apart, cleaned and reinstalled and no issues since.
From what I am seeing it looks like there is a wide varriance in coolant levels our trucks will run in. For me it is about an inch below the MIN mark.
If you run lifted or level this will throw off the actual indication as well. That's what I didn't take into account the first time I was troubleshooting this problem.
