Allison AT 545
wondering if i can get my allison at545 rebuilt but with lower gear ratio, cuz its pretty high, i pretty much have to rev up to 3000 to shift it

Gear change in the rear would be cheaper, easier. 3:00 are pretty high but should be ok. Should be great out on the freeway!

your vacuum pump is going bad, and not giving the trans modulator enough vacuum signal to shift. you need at least 17 inches of vacuum for the trans to work properly.

What does it take to mount an at545 to a 7.3 IDI? My truck currently has a destroyed C6.
