pathfinder conversion front axle

pathfinder conversion front axle
found an 77 e350 with the pathfinder 4x4 conversion.
anybody know about axles under these? i've heard that a few used d60's but most got hp d44's (but i think most conversions were 3/4 ton)
that and i know that the perches are set wider than on a truck, but if i can pick it up for a song, i doubt it will matter much.
I was thinking about this for my highboy, im worried about what the 38's are eventually going to do to its little 44...
I have no need for a van, but it also has a fairly new 460 in it.

If anything the 460 would be nice to have.

the guy says that he wants 2500 for it. and i would probably sell/trade the 460 for a good FE.
but for that kind of dough i can get an f350 that would have more parts off of it that could be used by me and my buddies. maybe even get ahold of a old 7.3 idi for that.
other than the axle and engine i don't have any use for the rest of it, which means that the rest is really only worth scrap, and only a couple hundred at that.

yeah, i don't really have anything against the 385's but im still running my old 360 and would only give it up for a rebuilt fe, I would like a 428, but people in hell want ice water, so i will either build me up a 410 eventually, or make it diesel powered.
