I have a 08 f350 sd diesel. My front turn signal flashes fast like a buld is out when i check it appeared that the front left turn was out. But I checked the bulb on the right side of the truck and it worked. I have a plow harness attached to the turn signal wires on both sides. That being said I used a test light to see if that tap had possibly cut the wire or was shorting it. althought even if i completely removed the tap i would get no power to the turn signal wire. I've taken it to the dealership and they said they can't duplicate the problem. HELP.
Sometimes its just a corroded contact point that's easily correct with a little sandpaper, just be sure to blow it out afterwards. I had a rear turn signal that would fail intermittently in the cold. But of course at twenty below I didn't particularly want to work on it either.....

If by a tap, you're referring to one of those 'pinch on' connectors for adding another wire to an existing circuit, I'd check both at the splice and at the end of the wire. If that's what you have, I'd lay my money on it having cut the conductor in the existing wire.
