I was wondering how you were doing with your overhaul. The only other thing I torque besides heads is injectors. I know Ford says 24 but I torque to 28. Some injector rebuilders say more, but they use a thicker copper washer. I've torqued Ford's to 28ft/lbs numerous times with NO issues. Anything else I can't help you with. It's just a feel thing for me.

yea even at the shop the only thing i torque is heads and internal parts. thats prob just what ill do this time too. just thought i would ask incase there may have been something that i should be torqueing on this thing since i never worked on one before.

as for the overhaul im waitin on a freind right now to come down and help me set these heads on this beast tonight. i had the heads rebuild with 3 angle valve job and had the intake and heads glass beaded inside and out. im using RCD head gaskets. i had a suspicion that my batterys werent goin to be able to get this thing started cuz they died on me twice over the winter. so i took them up to the shop and stuck them on the tester and sure enough they were both bad. so add 2 batterys to my list along with the turbo...i still dont know what im doin about that yet. but i should have everything together except the turbo this week.
