And the Bonus find for a mere 20 bucks was the heater box. The guy say it came out of a 52 pick-up. After I get it fixed up I will replace the one thats in my truck now.
I found a 9" on Craigslist about two years ago for $75. After I got it home I found it had new brake everything, shoes, drums and hardware. The truck, a '72 F-100 had been advertised as a parts truck for over a month for $200. I thought about emailing the guy but procrastinated for a about a month before I shot him an email asking to buy just the rear end. He came back with the $75 for just the axle. I had to drive about 100 miles to get it but it looks like a new axle with very little exterior surface rust. Some times you get lucky.

Normally I never have this kind of luck when I need something. I guess timing is everything.
