06 6.0 squeel
I have started to notice a slight squeel after starting up the truck. It seems to happen right before the oil pressure goes up to normal, then a slight squeel when I turn the truck off. It doesn't do it while the truck is running just when the oil pressure goes up or the truck is turned off. I am wondering if it might be something with the High Pressure Oil Pump. Has anyone else noticed or had this problem. Truck runs fine, also wodering if it might not be the Oil pump but a belt slipping when the pump kicks in??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a bearing on either an idler pulley or alternator or something else on the front of the engine. It'll first start to make noise when it first starts spinning and when it stops spinning at shut down. Also could be a turbo bearing, but probably not.
