Headliner
I am looing to make a headliner, any good mateials out there to make a fairly inexpensive custom headliner?
I will cover it with fabric and foam so looking for a base material.

Since it bears on the subject, I figure I'd post here as well. I just put this link on the "supercab" thread a few pages back, but it's relevant here too. I used 1/8" ABS plastic as a backing material for my headliner. I had to use two 4'x8' sheets of it to make a headliner for my supercab, but if you have a standard cab, one sheet might do. Anyway, the link below is to my album for the step by step procedures I went through to make a new headliner for my truck. Seemed to work quite well for me anyway. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the great description, just what I was looking for. I have always worked with flat surfaces where inflexible wood backing could be used. Was not sure what materials would be flexible yet strong enough.
