Brakes

Well another problem presented itself on my truck...the driver's side rear brake has started to leak everywhere and when I went to pull the drum off today I found that there is a special socket needed to loosen and tighten the axle bearing nut. Anyone have any idea what size that nut is and where I can get the socket? It is on a 1985 F-250 6.9L Diesel 4x2 with a Dana 70 rear end. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the size but you can get the socket at many parts stores. Autozone, Napa, Sears ect. The foreign made sockets are not much $$.

I think I bought mine at Napa from one of those racks with special tools. It is a simple pressed steel socket that I believe fits my 1/2 ratchet.
