I am looking for a replacement part for my truck, too..
there is a piece of metal back by the tailgate that my local mechanic calls a drip edge. It is pinch welded in behind the wheelwells and runs across the width of the bed and curves under the back end.. it is all rusted to heck.. not much left of the thing....this is why you never put a cap on your truck and then lay carpet and pressed wallboard in your truck bed as the previous owners did .... Condensation is the DEVIL.... just ask my poor truck.. All I know is that it'll cost me 400 bucks to get it replaced.. the bed will have to be removed..
