Hi, my name is Dwane Park, some of you may recognize me from "SIR". I am in a wheelchair and race a 1977 F-100 with a 429 in it. My friend helped me get a website up and going, there is still a lot of work, but check it out please.
Regards,
Dwane

Here is a photo of my truck that my friend Morgan took yesterday
Awesome........ I`ve read your story in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix this summer and I was amazed at your accomplishments with your Ford F100!

Yes, it would be great to have you aboard! Nice truck by the way, I have always loved the late '70's ford trucks. I have a '79 with a 460, needs a little work.
Hi Dwane and welcome as our newest Man/Sask chapter member!
Keep us posted on your progress and if you need anything don`t hesitate to holler!
You may have already noticed that FTE is full of Ford truck info including the 460 engine series-Big Block V8 - 385 Series (6.1/370, 7.0/429, 7.5/460) https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum53/
My Flathead can go faster...... all 110hp of it lol
either way I got a 77 Grand Marquis with a 460 motor, I picked it up for 25 bucks with the plan of a demo derby. Can't really bring myself to destroying a great running 460 though......
I think I still have a 429 motor that I pulled out of a 68 Ford tow truck (previous transplant)
hey dwane you should post up some specs of the truck and what it runs!! im really curious to know whats done to it and how it does, since it doesnt say anything really on your website

will do, my buddy is still working on it for me, will be putting my time slips ups and specs asap
It just came down to what was available for complete engines. Yes the earlier 429 and 460 engines are similar in power but the early 460's are rare. There are more 429's with high compression and better heads available than say a 1968 460 and the newer 460's have less of a starting point even more so. So I opted for the 429.
Ok I gotcha, like how a early 352 produces more hp then a 70's 390.
Makes sense, how much horsepower are you up to? I'm assuming your motor is a little modded.
