Year? Highway lamp switch changed a few times over the years.
Assuming you haven't had BOTH high-wattage filaments fail, the first check would be to find out if there is any voltage getting to the high beam terminals in the headlamp connectors. If not, then short of broken wires, you are most likely dealing with a switch problem.
