Pullin the other day and ses light comes. so I plugged my diablosport up and cleared the code after it stated injector driver module. well anyhow it came back(the ses light and code). so i toke the tune out of it and put it back to stock. received the code 6 more time with resetting it each time then resuming home. the last 90 miles it didn't screw up once. however it was also raining not hard but raining most of the trip then within the last 30 minutes of traveling before heading back home is when the problems came then no problems after rain stop(not sure if that had anything to do with it or not). dealer's goin look at tues. just wondering if you guys had any feedback.
What was the code exactly? IDM codes are telling you somethings wrong with the injector side of the engine. It could be UVCH coming loose. thats a simple inexpensive
fix you can do. If you have access to a DVOM you can check the harness and narrow down the cause quite quickly.
not sure on the exact code there was a few but mainly from there being a tune on the truck. however the I cant recall the code it was p???? injector drive module.
one question? does anyone have all the numbers that can possibly be emitted from the truck not on this instance but all the codes. also i failed to mention the truck would miss while the ses light was one and also i don't know what "cel" means.
The rain part of this has me thinking that water somehow was getting to the IDM. IIRC you have to remove the inner fender liner to get to it. I would take a quick look there in addition to posting the codes that were generated.
CEL=check engine light. Jim help a brother out. I know there is a engine dianostic code list somewhere on here but I don't remember where. Is it Guzzle's page or RHN?

there were some issues with water comtamination in the IDMs on the OBS trucks. even a factory TSB I think. easy enough to check out. remove the drivers side inner fender liner and remove the IDM. located behind and above the wheel well opening. check the wire loom connection for water and shake the IDM and listen for sloshing sounds or water dripping out of it. I fought this once on a 96 truck. once it stopped raining it never did give the owner fits again.
Remember that the main harness wire insulation going to the left valve cover sometimes "chafes" on the valve cover on the underside, and should have Scotch 33+ liberally applied around the wire bundle to prevent it.
Easy to determine, easy to fix if it's the problem.
cleaned up batteries and terminals looked for wiring integrity looks good, i guess go forth and wait for problems to arise. thanks for all of ur inputs.
