As long as there is no bowtie on any of your trucks....I'd say you're normal.
I only have two...but just the other day explained to my honey how tearing down my old shed freed up room for a couple more.
The hunt is on....
I think my next truck will be a 60's f-100 or an early bronco....but you never know.
Nope im not married, Probly wont be either as I seem to get dumped for another guy about 4 or 5 times a year. Any way most of these trucks I get fo nothing or less than $500. I keep them at my dads place but his yard is getting crowded. I would put them at an old place we own the problem there is some a hole went in there stole a radiator out of the 73 F100 I use for parts n picked a pipe n smashed the windshield.

Niiiiice.....Yup, sounds like an a-hole to me. Lots of them out there.
That sucks brother....You know there was a day when you could just taken them out and drag them behind your horse till dead.
They still do that anywhere????
I have a few acres of bush land about an hour away and thought about using that property for storage too, but all the locals would pick me clean.
But to smash the windshield....takes a scumbag to do that.
you are not only normal but also smarter than the average human ..... atleast you appreciate true automotive greatness when you see it I've got 7 73-79 pickups; an 89 which will be donating its 7.3 to my 76 crewcab, a 01 Excursion, and plans are in the works for the wife to get an Excursion to replace that silly Chev minivan she's driving I just realized I don't have a 73 - 79 F350 in the fleet I'll have to rectify that ASAP. Actually seen a tow truck version sitting in a feild by my sister's place hmmmmmmmmm

this again proves that the 73-79 sickness also leads to Excursion sickness. And in my case, also lead to 57-60 sickness.

and it ISN'T curable, I think once you get it,,,, well, you got it for life!!!
Not sure about most of you, but I got it as a child maybe @ 3 or 4, dad was a gearhead in his spare time,,,rebuilt the 68 Bronco we had, I got to drive it and the old 65 Ranchero around,,, standing between his legs, it was all over then@!@!
I have to agree with everyone else. You're normal. Just call it a hobby. You'd spend a lot more if you played a lot of golf etc. I have 2 early broncos (had 3 until recently), my '72 bumpside and of course a '79 4x4 shortbed. I've only had the '79 for a couple of years but I've always wanted one and love the style! Last winter when we got a pretty good snow and ice I took that thing everywhere and didn't have a problem. Last summer I loaded it down with 2000 pounds of gravel and it didn't even whimper. These things and the classic good looks are the reason we're into what we're into. Besides the trucks I have now, I had another '79, 7 other broncos, two rangers, a '93 f150 and a '69 mustang. If nothing else, you'll most likely be able to get your money out of them if you ever need to.
So the count was at 16. Nut now a few weeks ago i hauled home a 78 F150 4wd no bed no motor but the trans n transfer case are still there. Ive been talkin to a guy about a 79 F100 longbed. A neighbor that has a 71 F250 2wd recently passed and im tryin to figure out how much time to give the family before i go ask. A fellow way north of me has a 79 F250 4wd for sale. im thinkin about buyin a mid 90s F150 4wd n trade it to my dad for his 78 F150 4wd ranger lariet. The downside is that a few weeks ago the 73 F100 that had the radiator stolen n the windshield smashed was completely destroyed by a nieghbor who like to go thru the property to get to 1 of his fields. it had such a nice grill that i wanted to use on my 75 highboy. But the sonuva$^*@! took his JD and pushed it into a scrap iron pile until the entire front end was crushed. It took every once of restraint i had not to tear him apart when i found out about it.

Was it your truck????
If it was, I would not have shown the same restraint. He'd still be looking for his teeth if it were my truck.
Yes it is my truck. In fact it 1 i saved from the crusher. I didnt pay for it, i worked for it. A different neighbor had before me n he sells scrap iron as part of his living. He had it but I bein 16 at the time didnt have any money so we agreed that id work for him.

No matter how you came to own it, but you own it.
Well, Im not saying you should be the crap out of the guy(that's just me), but I wouldn't let that go(seriously)...Your truck, he bashed it up.
My blood would be boiling.
Sorry about your truck. Hope it evens out for you!
when i called him on it, he was sorry n asked how he could make it up too me. I told him to find me another 1.
I would be delighted to post pics of them on here but i have no idea how to do that. I read a thread on here about goin to tinypic.com but id rather not have to go thru another source to do that.
