yes. its a small box directly below the lock. your manual lock has a bar that clips on to the actuator. the actuator just clips to the side of the door. no screws or bolts.
I used aluminum foil and like I said it worked great. Took me about 2-1/2 hours and a few skinned knuckles. Be careful with all of those plastic clips on your linkage, I broke one from getting in a hurry!
I did the fix today, but only replaced the thermo-thing with a piece of brass instead of aluminum foil. I didn't want to have to take it apart again. It's a pain to get out the first time. Lock is working perfectly now. thanks for all the help.
