you seem to forget that cummins was once owned by ford... and since we're talking about ruining stuff...need we mention something in your fleet that's been "ruined" but you don't seem in a hurry to make things right...

Ford never actually owned cummins, they just owned shares in them. To my knowledge they used cummins in their larger trucks till they quit making them.
Fords like any other company though, they like to make a buck, and that had a huge factor with dropping cummins.
The only cool ranger is one with a v8 in it, IMO. Other then that they can stay in the junkyards, with the dodge trucks that the cummins engines come out of!
at one point they owned controlling shares... which is as good as owning the whole thing...
i hear ya Fom... too many projects, too little time. i'm getting the itch for another project, but its going to wait until i have proper room to store it and work on it.
Actually Sherm if I remember right, ford only ever owned like 10-15 percent, which is far from controlling shares needed. I COULD be wrong on that one, but Im pretty sure it wasnt enough for them to have any sort of control in the company.
