truck box

i am looking into buying a truck bed box for my truck. i was wondering if anyone knew a place online that makes/sells the older style boxes. prefer one of the ones that opens on either side of the bed. and i would probably paint it white to match my factory rims.

do you mean a styleside with the built in tool boxes, or a stepside?

I believe that the Op is asking about a tool box for the bed, not a complete bed.

Just an aftermarket truck tool box.

Any truck accessory shop will have them. Even your local auto parts stores are carrying them. Heak, even your local home improvement stores are carrying them.
Many truck tool box manufacturers make them in white powder coat finishes.

I read it three times and came up with three different ideas each time.

Well, the Op has plenty of options, so we shall see.

I would try the local cragslist or something if a new one is not gonna fit the bill. I see them used for pennies on the dollar.

correct. i am looking for a truck box not bed. sry for the misunderstanding. my uncle used to have this really old style truck toolbox. and i was just wanting one like it. i do not like the diamond plated ones. ive tried craigslist. what is the correct term for these online. looking for one like this but with that older look to it. if i have to break out a welder and make my own i will. but looking around first because i am pressed for time.

is what i am looking for.
