Actually the only difference between the F250 and F350 in these years is the springs and (in case of 4x4) the axles. F250s obviously have the softer front springs, and less leafs in the main packs in the rear. F350s also have overload springs from the factory, which is again a bolt-on upgrade for an F250. F250 and F350 SRW rear axles are exactly the same. F250s have TTB front axle when they are 4x4, F350s have the D60. quote]
perhaps this is true for 2wds regarding the softer springs. However, the TTB springs are thicker and stiffer to accomodate for the spring twist during the suspension cycle. The 350 front springs will be have a more positive arch and provide a better ride quality. The rear of my 90 f250 6leafs WITH an overload. My brothers 95 f350 has only 4 leafs with an overlaod. both trucks are 4x4 and my truck rides worse than the f350(even when I put a D60 under my truck.)...Now both of us were not the original owners of the trucks, so they may not be factory...
Matt, by stiffer front springs I meant their load capacity, not the ride quality - you are correct, spring geometry has a lot to do with ride quality. The monobeam D60 axles has a higher GAWR than the TTB. As for the rear springs, who knows what happened there before ya'll took ownership of your trucks...

Im not sure about these year trucks, but i believe that the F350s have a 1 or 1.5 in block in the back that makes the rear sit higher so that when you load more weight it doesn't sag as much. So it can carry more weight safely.
I know this is the difference between the newer F250s and F350s. And i remember hearing something similar with these years, but im not certain.
