Do you have an early or late 99? And make sure the housing is for 99-03 trucks. Also, see if you can get the a/r ratio off it.

i have late 99 heres the info he posted
Powerstroke 7.3 99.5- 2003
USED Quick-Turbo Assembly with high flow outlet
Massive Instantaneous Torque. the high flow outlet eliminates your back pressure valve
so it is less restricted for more flow. the banks housing new goes for over $500 and the high
flow outlet new goes for $150 alone. This is a good deal.

- Developed to maximize turbo-diesel efficiency
- Eliminates sluggish response
- Strengthens acceleration
- Raises and achieves boost peak faster
- Maintains higher boost without over-boosting
$150 OBO

I cant see how a bigger "high flow" housing will make it spool faster, you go bigger and you suffer on the bottom end thats just the way it works. And then he says you will gain "Massive Instantaneous Torque" how? your not getting any more fuel to the engine then before.

I cant even find the dimensions on Banks website. I wouldnt do it, IMO its just some more overpriced junk from Banks.

*IF* it's the housing, it's a 1.0 a/r exhaust housing. All it will do is reduce your backpressure & EGTs some. $100 for that housing IS a steal, IMHO. But you have to make sure it's the right one. It got the knick name "quick spool" because the OBSs had 1.15 a/r housings and lagged. The 1.0 spools quicker on those trucks. The name stuck I guess, but we have an even smaller stock housing, so it's will actually spool slower. BUT, if you want to add some tunes later it will make your turbo pretty safe up to ~30psi. You can get the thing (especially at that price!), but make sure the flange where it connects to the up-pipes is round and not rectangular. The rectangular one is for the OBS trucks.

I was thinking it was a bigger exaust housing, so after my post I looked around for a few min but couldnt find any specs for it. Good info Joe.
