Hard to tell from one pic (look at my avatar) but I bet your's is a better start than mine, and mine is coming along.

Just keep plugging away. I try to get something done to it major or minor every day. Mostly minor though, but that's what it takes. Next step is buttoning up the mechanical gauges and installing the instrument cluster. Just got the underdash wiring situated today, all controls and lights are working.

Yeah, mine is pretty close to yours actually. Grandfather bought it new in 78, is was my fist vehicle at 16, (33 now). So I have some motivation to do it right. I would love to do a frame-off, but scared of the cost. I can do a bit of mechanic work, but major drivetrain stuff is a little much for me. I go between driving it 'til the engine pukes (170,000 mi.) and then doing something, or just going ahead and starting. We'll see. Needs lots of work in the short box (rust), and those are hard to find.
