Scangaugell

I just had to come and post this guys. 2 weeks ago I orderd an extra cable for my Scangaugell and well I never recieved it. I sent them an email yesterday to let them know about it. Well I just got an email back from Kimberly at Scangauge saying that I should have recieved my order by now. And to say, that they will ship a replacement out to me right away. FREE!!! Well just had to let yah all know that if you're considering the Scanguagell for your truck, you'll also get the great customer service that goes with it.

This gauge is great and with the xgauge feature you can monitor all kinds of stuff in real time.

I'm not as technically sophisticated as you, and as well as some of the other guys here Mike. I need to do some research to better undestand the data I'm getting. But from my stand point, I really like it alot. It let me know instantly when my alternator was going out. I never got stranded with a dead Alternator, and even before the SES came on, I knew I had a problem. I diagnosed my wifes Excursion as well when her alternator went out. I've programmed HP mode into it, and next I'm gonna program TQ into to it as well. It seems to be reading HP from the flywheel though. How, I don't know. Because I know I'm not pushing 590 HP, and on a hard launch I've seen it read this high. I ordered the extra cable so that I can use it on other vehicles to read DTC's or erase them and so fourth. It has the Icp and Ipr setting already programed into it. I just don't quite understand the info I'm reading on the IPR and ICP setting's as far as good and bad parameters. I made a video and posted it here in the hopes of some feedback, as well as for some Data logging, but I didn't get any responses. I know the video was alittle tough to see at some point's, so I did some editing to help read the info I was getting at idle, 40-90mph, cruising, and even at hard launches from 0- 60 mph in different setting of my DI Tuner.
I believe you have AE too. I'd love to send it you, and have you do a comparison with the AE program to see how it stacks up. If your interested let me know Mike. Sorry for the long post.
