ok some of you may remember a week ago i posted about how my turn signals werent working... but my brake, and hazard lights were.... well i checked and changed the 15amp fuse, and changed the turn signal switch, still nothing... :S any ideas? i cant put it on the road till this is fixed... could the horn and cruis controlls in the steering wheel not being hooked up cause this? anything else? im totally lost on this one

now, in this second picture, you can see where the flasher is supposed to be, well the two wires there red with white stripe, and white with red stripe. those both have power....

That is your hazard flasher, not your blinker flasher.
On my diagram Red/White and White/Red are for the flashers.
On my diagram Org/Yel and LtBlu are for the blinkers.
On my 97 the blinker is indeed located in front.
Are you sure you were on Fuse #7 15A and not on another as it should have power with key in the run position.
on my truck, there is a flasher on the back side under the dash for something... Might be blinkers back there... I always thought it was odd that they would put it on the back like that, but its to save room im sure... Check that one too.
I would still check the flasher on the back with your head under the dash... it may not be letting voltage going through the flasher, so the fuse does not have any voltage...
