Got my truck in April, and it's been one thing after another just trying to get a set of decent rollers under her without breaking the bank!
The ones she's on are 8 lug 17.5" wheels with the above tires, but the rubber is old and cracking some. I picked up a set of 16.5" 8 lug wheels over the weekend, but the tires are also worn to nothing and the 9.5-16.5" size just has the wrong look. Anyway, just wanted to see what some of you recommend as far as what wheels/tires I should go with. I've found plenty of places (even local and in-stock) for the 8-17.5" tires, but mounted it'd be almost $800, but that's more than I want to spend right now. I've seen some 8-17.5 used tires in decent shape for a lot less, but wondering if there's any mounting issues I need to be aware of (i.e. radial versus bias, are there even radial tires in this size, etc.) The tires on the F2 I think are bias. Also, if Merten is out there, I'd still like to buy the wheels/tires you sent me pics of... but I haven't been able to get in touch with you.
Thanks in advance everyone!
