Tires: I love my BFG AT. I've put them on 3 differnt trucks now. Great in the winter, not bad highway mileage (about 18). Keep them rotated and they last quite a while.
thats what I got. they are nice for sure. and it didnt break me. truck turned out nice. the outter sheet metal with the fuel doors is obsoleted by ford. they used an aftermarket panel. but it matches almost perfect.

I must be the only person who hates the BFG AT tires, I had a set on my nissan pathfinder that vibrated and only lasted 35,000 miles. I now have a set on my psd and less than 10,000 miles the vibrate and whine, 2 of them are out of round and discount won't warranty them. rotated and balanced every 5,000 miles. each time they are around 5 oz out of balance. my last set of dunlaps made 50,000 miles and never went out of balance.
the only reason I am running them now is my Brother in law bought them for his '97 psd 1 week before he traded it in so I got the tires and wheels for less than he paid for the tires.
I've got the mt's right now, but i think my next set will probably be 'rugged trail' A guy I work with has them on his '04 V10, and they are great in the mud, snow, and they seem to be holding up well to his burnouts. LOL.

never heard of that happening before. i'm on my third set of bfg's right now. put 65,000-70,000 on the two before this one. could be summin to do with roads around where you live too and the shop that put em on. we have decent roads in tn but some of the places i haul cows to if there was a vibration i wouldn't know cause of some of the 4 lanes where i was (55 runnin from caruthersville, mo to west memphis, arkansas could hide a mazda in some of those potholes). it prob makes a big difference that i've usually got a minimum 10,000 pound load behind me too though. had a buddy one time with bfg's wore the center of his bald and still had tread on the outside we didn't understand why turns out the place that put em on his truck put the wrong load range on and over inflated the tires and broke the center belt in the tires its a wonder he didn't have a blow out.
i use pirelli A/T's load range E. they seem to be holding up alright to my burnouts as well. they do outstanding in the mud even though i'm only 2wd. i still have yet to get it stuck. i used to run mud grips on the back b/c i do like to go through some mud here and there... LoL. these seem to get me through very well. much better than i thought they would..

No Helifixer your not. I hate them also. I am running Yokohoma Geolander ATs on mine and I love'em. I have not had a bit of trouble in any weather, rain snow, sleet whatever. Now I don't go in the mud or anything. I mainly stay on pavement but have to have traction and highway treads won't cut it. I shopped the Yokohomas and got them for just under $150.00 but I had to buy 7 at the time.
I'm not a fan of the BFG's AT either. They don't clean out very good and the tread seems to be a step too low do any aggressive mud.
I've switched to Cooper's now, which seem to be doing the job. I drive a ton a gravel and the BFG's just couldn't take it. Eventually, the thread starts to rip off the tire.
I ran over a piece of broken pallet two days ago... immediately made me think of this thread.
