funny craigs list add
up for sale is my 1993 ford f150 4x4. the truck has 138,*** miles on it. the 4x4 works great but one u joint on the front drive shaft needs to be replaced. the passenger window motor is burned out. it has cruise control that used to work but doesn't anymore i think it's just a fuse 
. the truck is not that rusty but there is rust on it
. the tires that are on it are not the best but the truck comes with 4 33inch tires plus 4 different rims. the big problem with the truck is that it doesn't start without putting gas in the intake. i thought the problem was the sending unit but i replaced it and it still did the same thing so there is only one more thing it could be and that is the fuel filter or the injector is dirty. the trans also shifts hard and doesn't like to go in to over drive till around 55 60mph but if you put in some lucas in it it should shift like it was new. the trucks alternater is squecky but i have another one. it will need ball joints in a few months. (Mildly edited to take out some of the non funny parts)

Whoa - don't get me started on Craig's list. There are some doozy's out there for ads. Both descriptions and prices.
But - I did get my truck off Craig's.
A straight forward add with pics and a general description.
My brother in law got both of his '72 250's off Craig's list - 1 donor and the other the real thing. He did it frame-off and it is gonna be awesome!

Some responses that I have gotten from craigslist ads have been winners as well, even excluding the spam/african nation/"I give you a fake 10G for you 100 dollar item and you give me 9900 in return" responses.

I bought my 91 of Craigslist. Luckily no big surprises. My wife had a friend that is an auto shop teacher at the local highgschool so she dropped it off with him for some work. We gave them a long list of things to do and check and all it will cost us is parts...
