Yes, it saves me from having to scan the thing.

I'm using the same diagrams to help with diagnostics.

I finally got a chance to try out the fix on the alternator wiring and it worked like a charm. I really appreciate the advise you folks provided. I was able to start the engine and run it for a few minutes. I goofed up on the intake manifold and it is leaking so I need to fix that. But once I get that straight I will be able to see if the old engine is gonna run for me or not.. thanks
